Lesson Requests are the most popular way Learners contact Teachers for lessons.
What is a Lesson Request?
Once the Learner’s search has been narrowed, the Learner will broadcast a message to all the Teachers whose profiles suit their request.
Lingos checks and approves all Lesson Request messages before they are sent to teachers to ensure you only receive messages from serious learners
How You Receive Lesson Requests
Lesson Requests will appear on you Lingos Dashboard and via e-mail notification.
If you match the Learner’s requirements then you are likely to receive their request.
Learners filter results on:
- Fluency level
- No. of Learners (e.g. for group lessons)
- Age of Learner
Give Yourself A Competitive Edge
As Lesson Requests are sent to multiple Teachers, bear in mind that you may not be the only teacher to respond to the learner. It is beneficial to….
- Respond promptly
- Offer a trial lessons (30mins)
- Let them know how you can help with their request
- Let them know why they should chose you
Keep your Lingos profile up-to-date as it will help potential Learners to find you.
You will appear in more search results if you provide more information. Consider updating your Specialisms, Languages Spoken and Endorsements.
